WORKSHOP SESSION 1 (Room Location: EINSTEIN)

Stress theatre – a playful introduction to dealing with stress
Are your employees also struggling with stress? Are you worried about their mental resilience? Are your colleagues reluctant to talk about stress?

The stress theatre makes the participants aware of the problem of modern-day stress in an entertaining and enjoyable way. It shows that things can be different, with a clear ‘call to action’.

Through this unique approach to both the causes and the consequences of work-related stress, this topic is opened up for discussion amongst colleagues. The situations are very recognisable, so that everyone can identify with them. We explain in a subtle way how each action provokes a reaction. Being aware of “why” someone (re)acts can ensure a better form of communication between employees in the future.

By means of a number of exercises, people can empathise with each other’s thought patterns.

So this is an incentive to self-analysis, but also to be able to recognise and acknowledge the signs of stress in oneself and in others.

Participants will receive tips to be able to start working on this in their daily lives.

WORKSHOP SESSION 2

A, Mindful @ Work (Room Location: BAEKELAND)
Volatile markets, challenging consumer demands, and the technological disruptions resulting from digitization are producing enormous change. Mindfulness is perfectly suited to counterbalance the digital-age challenges of information overload and constant distraction. The benefits of mindfulness are demonstrated in scientific research. On an organizational level, mindfulness reduces sick days, increases trust in leadership and boosts employee engagement. Yet integrating mindfulness in the corporate context can be challenging. And here Tryangle comes in: we help you with the implementation of Mindfulness in your company. Try a different angle with us, and experience satisfying results!

B, Water the DNA of life (Room Location: DARWIN)
“Did you know that the earth surface consists for more than 70% of water? In addition, an adult body consists of more than half of water. The conclusion is quickly made: this precious resource remains one of the most important “issues” on earth. (Excessive) use and abuse are nowadays difficult to distinguish. In our presentation we will go deeper into the power of this phenomenon as well as the effect on our daily life. Water contains fascinating components and applications. SipWell implements 25 years of knowledge and experience to offer various water solutions on the current market. Our slogan is therefore, by the intake of sufficient water, you get a healthy mind in a healthy body. How we achieve this and which steps we take, we likely introduce to you on September 28th. Hello, SipWell. Hello, lighter life! "

‘C, Chief, Open your eyes… before it’s too late’. (burnout) (Room Location: NEWTON)
Before the burnout interrupts the lives of your co-workers, believe it or not, you could have known it, because there are warning signs, you just have to see them! The goal of this workshop is to detect & recognize all the different signs, which are sometimes physically, cognitive, affective and behavior due to high stress, and being able to work together with the co-worker who’s concerned. So.. open your eyes… before it’s too late! Because happy people are productive people.

WORKSHOP SESSION 3

Examining issues and solutions that impact upon the Corporate Wellbeing Agenda

A, Leadership in the digital age (Room Location: NEWTON)
The world is becoming increasingly digital. Ironically, this means that managers need to become more human. The office world no longer belongs to the sneaky office rat. I'll show you that helping others and being supportive is the most effective way to get to the top in a digital company. I'll even reverse it and show that the most effective way to become a digital company is to teach human values to your managers.

B, How does the work environment affect employee well being? (Room Location: DARWIN)
The office space people work in, can affect their well being tremendously. A good office environment has a balance between the physical space available, the organizational structure, the behavior of the people working in it and the IT tools that are available. An office environment where people can be productive and the well-being of employees is not contradictory. The case of the AXA NWOW implementation is the living proof of this. Colliers’ global workplace trends and the WELL building standard principles will show you how you can influence the employee well being with your office environment.

C, The Recruitment Process – Modernising and Simplifying Talent Acquisition (Room Location: BAEKELAND)
"One of the most common reasons why candidates don’t finish their applications is the company’s recruitment processes being too long, complicated, not user-friendly, etc. This is a problem for both applicants and recruiters. There is an overall shortage of talent, and job seekers don’t stay on the market for a long time. Studies have also revealed that 86% of recruiters feel the labour market is candidate-driven, making it even more important for companies to put their focus on improving their employer branding in order to attract the best talent.

In this workshop, we will talk about the importance employer branding and how it translates in a great candidate experience. Leading the way to bringing the best talent within your company."
