The Employee Experience

 

In a wide variety of surveys, levels of employee engagement remain low in most organisations. Alignment with the aims and values of the brand is critical to productivity, employee advocacy and the development and retention of talent. Employees who are not engaged also do not benefit from support provided by the employer, indeed are often unaware of what is available.

Engagement with the brand begins and the recruitment stage and continues through all aspects of the employee lifecycle. A strategy for employee engagement is to be fully aligned with the employee experience. Through all aspects of the employment lifecycle, communication of the brand and its values, provision for employees and engagement with co-workers has also to be constant and continually reinforced.
